In patients with mild to moderate renal impairment, the dose should not exceed 200 mg by continuous intravenous infusion every 12 to 24 hours in patients with moderate to severe asthma or COPD. Neonatal renal impairment: Salbutamol is not indicated for use in neonates with severe renal impairment. The dose should not exceed 200 mg by continuous intravenous infusion every 12 to 24 hours in neonates with mild to moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 20 ml/minute).
